Lesotho NOC Engages World Aquatics Engineers on National Swimming Center Project

President Morake of the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, together with key leaders from the Maseru Government and Military, held a meeting with World Aquatics Senior Engineers Zhou Xiang and Lu Jie (Yinghui Sports).

During the visit, both sides conducted on-site inspections and engaged in in-depth discussions on the site selection and construction of the Lesotho National Swimming Training Center and the National Youth Drowning Prevention Base.

This collaboration marks an important step toward enhancing aquatic sports development in Lesotho, while also laying a solid foundation for youth drowning prevention initiatives in the region.

Uganda NOC and World Aquatics Engineers Conduct Site Inspections for National Swimming Center

As the second stop in the Global Youth Drowning Prevention Base Initiative, Moses, President of the Uganda National Olympic Committee, led his delegation to meet with World Aquatics Senior Engineers Zhou Xiang and Lu Jie (Yinghui Sports).

Together, they carried out on-site inspections of six proposed locations across Uganda to determine the most suitable site for the construction of a National Olympic Swimming Center and a Youth Drowning Prevention Base.

This initiative aims to enhance aquatic sports infrastructure in Uganda while promoting youth water safety and survival skills on a global scale.

As the third stop in the Global Youth Drowning Prevention Base Initiative, Jean Claude Niyukuri, President of the Burundi National Olympic Committee, together with his delegation, met with World Aquatics Senior Engineers Zhou Xiang and Lu Jie (Lokang Sports).

The team conducted professional site assessments of three proposed locations to select the most suitable site for the construction of a National Olympic Swimming Center and a Youth Drowning Prevention Base.

This effort represents another key step in advancing aquatic sports development in Africa and promoting youth water safety and survival skills on a global scale.

As the fourth stop in the Global Youth Drowning Prevention Base Initiative, Mashami, Secretary General of the Rwanda National Olympic Committee, and Cynthia, President of the Rwanda Swimming Federation, met with World Aquatics Senior Engineers Zhou Xiang and Lu Jie (Lokang Sports).

Together, they conducted professional assessments of four proposed sites and selected the most suitable location for the construction of a National Olympic Swimming Center and a Youth Drowning Prevention Base.

This milestone marks another important step in strengthening aquatic sports infrastructure and promoting youth water safety in Rwanda and across Africa.
